Prices and updates

We update prices on a schedule, and the foot of every page links here so the date is never more than one click away. The figures you see come from our last update rather than from a live check while you read.

When a tool loses its price in an update, its page comes off the site and the address sends you to the department it belonged to. When the price returns, so does the page.

Sources for the guides are read by hand, and the date we read each one sits next to the link.
